There was
a time when financial planning and finding the right investment to match
your needs was relatively simple.
Because it is important
that we keep your trust, we will only ask you for information that we
require. Also, when we ask you for information we will let you know why
we need it.
Under normal circumstances, Fiscal Agents will not collect, use or disclose your personal information without your consent. "Disclosure" means providing specific information about you from our records to a third party. The only exceptions to this rule are when the firm has a legal obligation to disclose under a valid court or government order. Or, the firm would not ask for consent when personal information is given to back to the financial institution you have dealt with using Fiscal Agents as your advisor.
While Fiscal Agents
tries to ensure that the information we hold about you is accurate, complete
and up-to-date, it is in your best interest to inform the us at 905-844-7700
or your servicing branch and or personal financial advisor promptly of
a change of name, address or any other relevant information.
In addition, every Fiscal Agents Financial Services Group employee, as a condition of employment, takes responsibility for protecting customer privacy, confidentiality and security. It's an obligation that remains in effect even after an employee leaves the firm. Fiscal Agents also has extensive controls to maintain the security of its operations and information systems. Physical access to areas where information is gathered, processed or stored is restricted to authorized employees only. Appropriate controls are in place over computer systems and data processing procedures and these controls are reviewed on an ongoing basis to ensure compliance with our security and privacy policies. The firm also destroys, erases or makes anonymous any personal information which is no longer needed for the investment purposes or legal requirements. We are committed, and our systems are designed, to protect your privacy and confidentiality. What about cookies? Cookies are pieces
of information that an interative service (e.g. website, digital TV) transfers
to your hardware (e.g. computer, set top box etc.) for record-keeping
purposes. Fiscalagents.com may use cookies where appropriate. If you are
using a PC and do not wish to receive cookies you can disable them in
the options or preferences menu within your internet browser.
